Leslie Grigg, co-founder of F Nephi & Golden Grigg Legacy Foundation, and his cousin Steve Grigg, heirs of the Ore-Ida legacy, lead this initiative to protect children while highlighting the forgotten “Holey Board.” Originally part of the Tater Tots® creation, this essential device has been largely unknown for decades. Mounted in Ontario, Oregon’s Ore-Ida plant, this board symbolizes innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and now serves as a beacon for advocacy through our Protect Your Tots™ campaign. The documentary, “The Tater Tot and the Quest for the Holey Board,” aims to correct historical oversights and leverage the beloved snack’s iconic status to promote child safety and community engagement.
